So, I've been reading a few/lot of threads with ppl complaining about depressed ppl and then sticking up for them, and so on and so forth. So I thought I'd see who is actually having a good time in their lives, AS or not.

I'm having a good time.. I hate my job and where I live, but I get paid and we're looking to move to a nicer place. I deal with my problems. I live with them. I try to correct the wrongs that I can. I am in a loving, comfortable relationship, and I'm happy.

Who's HAPPY?!

I'm a college student who is poor, single, and without any friends - mainly due to social anxiety, though I'm working on becoming more social. I'm very happy with my academic studies, work, hobbies and existence in general. Life is a struggle, but I enjoy the challenge. I consider myself lucky just to be alive, and harbor no ill-feelings for humanity, even though they've been hard on me in the past. Yes, it's possible for socially reclusive kind to be optimistic and friendly people, contrary to the negative stereotypes. :)

My job sucks, I'm not in a relationship, I'm suffering from insomnia, and I haven't been in contact with friends for ages, but, still, I'm happy.

I've got all the time in the world to find a more suitable career, attempt to overcome social anxiety and I'm not going to rush myself into a bad relationship.

Hooray!

I'm really thoroughly pleasurably amiably content (wagering a subsidiary of happy, cauz I don't like that word.)

Which is a very nice place to be, I might add.

Yes, I am. I'm doing good in school and drinking copious amounts of tea. That is all.

Go for it. I recommend Earl Grey. The fine aroma of bergamot oil will quell any depression!
