How much do you all like soy sauce? I sprinkle it liberally on my rice when I have a stir fry meal. Love it.

I love it. I have it with plain rice. :)
And sushi, of course.

I like it a bit, and use it in place of salt for Chinese/Japanese or Forean food. I only like Japanese or Korean soy sauce, though. --Domestically produced Kikkoman and Yamasa are for all intents and purposes Japanese.

I don't put soy sauce on as many things as I used to.

I am more of a Tabasco person myself.

I don't actually mind it as a matter of fact, though I tend to prefer things without. Just a preference issue rather than a sensory one.

Soy of the earth topic

I think one tablespoon of this stuff has over 1000mg of sodium chloride. Whew! 8O.
My 13 year old daughter loves to make white rice brown by liberally sprinkling it all over. And we thought potato chips were junk salted!

Not much, I'm not that much of a salt craver.

I cook with soy sauce, I don't use it like a condiment. I tend to mix my rice in with the meat and vegetables which gets the rice covered in the final sauce, which has sugar added!

I prefer fish sauce. Side by side, fish sauce is saltier but you use in cooking and not as much. Soy sauce as a condiment and not a cooking aid is too salty! I finally bought some for my husband though, for pot stickers.
