have a problem with DVD player

hey. I have one of those DVD home theaters in a box and I set the display to progressive scan but I can't see anything on the screen now. Any idea how to get it back to where it was?

If you bought it at a store that starts with "W" and the brand has the prefix "Dura-" I suggest hitting it with a hammer for a few good whacks. ...

Otherwise, make sure everything is connected properly, read the manual and try other settings.

If all else fails, buy a different one or call the manufacturer.

yup. sorry to have bothered ya. I got it fixed. Turns out I had to press and hold the stop button down for 3 seconds to reset it. yay!
