have u seen people participating in a practice that makes you think why?

for me it was when i was watching a nostalgia program about what was cool in 2002 called what a year. anyway botox was quite popular that year (still is)

people were even having botox parties then. basically a hostess would get a bunch of her friends together and a local plastic surgeon and they would have drinks and finger foods and get botox on various parts of their faces. when one hostess was asked why botox party she said i wanted to give them something to do.
One should never mix botox with booze.
what is wrong with a board game?

I wonder who on earth was the first one to try botox against wrinkles... I mean it is a deadly toxin. How do you get the idea to inject it into someones face? 8O

I must say that in my oppinion board games > toxic injections, but that is probably just me

Toxic parties topic

Botox injections paralyze a part of the facial nerves/muscle and in doing so halts movement of that part of the face. Thus wrinkling of the facial skin is minimized or eliminated. You are so vain.

I personally do not believe in plastic surgery, unless it is to correct a disfigurement or for physicial health reasons. Unnecessary surgery can result in more problems and disease or death for the worst case scenario. Michael Jackson and Jenny Jones are just two celebrities known to suffer debilitating repercussions of plastic surgical enhancement. 8O

trues, i see plenty of pictures of peoples with buggered up surgery, if u are going to have surgery
get someone respected and registered.
if you don't if just makes things a lot worse.

i don't really judge peoples for getting it done though. anyway another thing i don't get is that procedure that u can get apparently to change the colour of your skin.

and i have heard of something called anal bleaching, when they colour the skin around there so it matches everywhere else. WTF!

I also wonder why people would want to fight against nature. I guess it's how our society has turned out to be very stuck-up.

Hasn't anybody heard of "aging with grace"? Where's all the grace gone?

what made people think that youth is superior to age in the first place? they have it reversed.

as to the toxic-in-the-face parties: whatever happened to the traditional cyanide in the kool-aid?

I am a definatly candidate for botox but I dont' like needles. I'd rather use a cream like L'Oreal to get rid of my wrinkles. Botox is also VERY expensive here.
Altho a friend said my wrinkles are fine, oh well at least if I wear no makeup I dont' get asked for ID at the liquor shop

no clue, age got you respect once. as for the parties i have only heard of scotch in the punch or some kind of strange chemical.

wisdom is important.

Ewww. Finger foods, and needles to my face do not go together in any way shape or form in my book. :eew:

Another social activity that I can't seem to get my head around is why groups of people get together to see a stripper. Why would I want to spend my evening waving a dollar bill around trying to lure a strange guy over to me so he can shake his junk in my face?????

My mum used Oil of Olay, for years. I was going to start buying some, for myself, but she told me not to.

I used to not understand why some people vacuumed their lawns.
