I'm having a very hard time, sleeping. I've been up and down, since 10. I have many thoughts going through my head, about that b***h, who's going to be on Dr. Phil, my adolescence and being told that I'd never amount to anything, one afternoon, at the age of 15. I'm also having thoughts about, if I'll ever find a job, or if I should just give up. I'm also having thoughts, about my mum eyeballing me and asking me what my problem was, and commenting on me being in a tuft, and me saying, "Oh well.", so that she would take her eyeballs off me. I have thoughts, about how I don't feel like a part of my family, and I feel like a rebel alien, who's just stepped off a silver Routemaster spaceship, into the year, 2008. I'm also having thoughts, about how I'm going to save my money, in the months to come, the fact that it wasn't my best move, to spend that $80 on a 5 Week Plan, at Weight Watchers. That money could have been going towards a leather jacket, or a better computer.

You seem to have a lot on your mind.

How about going outside having a walk some where.

I don't know if I have any good feed back. I've been worrying about my job and a lot of stuff of other stuff. My main concern is over both my grandparents. They're not seemingly doing too well and they're usually strong willed. I can't stop thinking about death because I don't know how I will handle this. When I saw this post, it freaked me out because I've been up all day, night, and now morning. My mind's been racing so I've been distracting myself with writing down short stories that aren't good but never the less short stories, common phrases, and going through photo albums. Yeah, it sounds freaky but it helped me distract myself from these bad thoughts a little.

I've been getting pretty good sleep lately, but every once in a while I have trouble. A year or so ago, when I was constantly depressed, I would go to bed at 11 pm and finally go to sleep around 7 am. I still have trouble every once in a while, the thought of being lonely and fantasizing about one day finding love are the main things that keep me awake.

I'm into writing myself but I write longer stories, stories I wish to write into video games someday. I wouldn't mind reading some of your stories if you don't mind sharing them. Maybe it can help keep your mind at ease.

I've worked it all out. I took Sid into bed with me, at 1:15 and slept straight through, until 6. I usually sleep from 10, until 6. I'll have Sid in bed with me, every night, from now on, no matter where I am.

Oh that's great, I was a little worried. You seem like a cheerful person.
BTW, who's Sid?

Sorry I didn't reply as fast. I was typing and the computer went out. I'm at my mom's and her computer is a little harder to even type on. Yeah, I'll show you my short stories. There a little embarassing. I'll probably have to some editing since I did a few randomly. So you do stories? I wouldn't mind reading a few.

If you ever get insomnia again (hopfully not though!):

Have you tried meditation? Not like it'll be easy at first. Not with so much going on in your mind. But after some practise and time, sorting out your thoughts, it's most likely a great help. If you can't push the thoughts away or else they might you insane, you can only sort your mind.

Meditation can be fun. You don't have to imagine horses, awesome landscapes or 'the great unknown' or stuff like that. If you're in for Sid, imagine talking to him and him answering back, you two going through it one topic at a time.

Sure, I'll share some of mine with you, well at least summaries anyway. My stories are rather long and incomplete, but I know what I want to happen in them. My first one involves your classic good vs evil struggle with a hero that has a messed up personality caused by massive trauma in his past, caused by the villain.

In fact, my stories also keep me awake at night. I've come up with my best material while trying to sleep.

Melatonin is good, if you can find it. It's a natural remedy.
I often wake up middle of the night and have to have a wee dram of whiskey to get back to sleep.
