I can lose interest easily and end up leaving the job I am doing and start another, then another. This has cost me a few extra (paid) jobs that otherwise would have paid me well. I just dont seem to stick to the thing I am doing.

I need to learn to focus, stay motivated and fight boredom ... and stick to the job until I finish it no matter what.

Does this indicate anything specific like depression for example ? And is there a book or website that can help ?

Thanks

Do you have any condition?

I think I have ADD or more, which makes it hard to stay focused.

For me I organize myself more, that seems to work.

Hi MR_BOGAN

I just found this site with several articles on self-esteem, motivation, and stress management.

solveyourproblem dot com <<<< [ being a new member, I cant post the link in the original format ]

me too !
As a matter of fact, I even wonder if I have Aspergers too but that is another story

Can you please elaborate on your phrase ( I organize myself more) what do you do to organize yourself. Actually I suffer from a very hectic lifestyle and need every possible tip to help me become more organized. Lately I have bought a folder and put in it a calendar, claculator, two notebooks, and a few other things to help me oranize my time and tasks.

Well I write everything down on a piece of paper what I'm going to do for the day. Then I don't have worry about forgetting anything. When I'm doing a task during the day I just think about that task and forget everything else, once I have finished that task I move onto the net task and again concertrate on just that task forget the rest.

If you have less on the mind, you are less stressed and you can concertrate on what you are doing.
Also following a plan helps you know where you are at.

Works for me

That website up there was good but i Felt bored and fruistrated trying to read every article which was spread on 15-20 pages. It would have been easier for me if every article was on pdf and I could download in one shot and read in my spare time.

Soooooo

How do you guys stay focused and motivated ?
