Something strange just happened with the wick of my candle...like a tiny explosion. Flame + tapestry = Very Bad! No wonder I'm not supposed to keep these things in my dorm room...

I once set fire to my hair. It smelled like popcorn afterwards.

That sucks, I hope you can cleanup/cover up any damage and not use candles in your room in the future.

I did accidentally light my room on fire once. It left an ugly, enbarrassing burn mark in the carpet. I'm never going to be unsafe with fire again.

I don't think I have ever set anything on fire on accident.

Congratulations! You have taken a big step in becoming a pyrotechnic!
On a more serious note, did you get burnt? How much did you have to pay for repairs?

I got little burned smothering the fire with my hand, because everything else on hand was flammable. (Wine = bad for putting out fires.) Fortunately, the damage is just to my tapestry, so no cost for repairs...at least to the school.

will I learn from this?...the jury is still out.
