I want to publish a video of Doctor Who in the Sims, when it was October, I signed an account, I tried to publish a video but Youtube won't let me, because of copyright. Recently many members on Youtube published Videos like Sims music, Doctor Who clips, Doctor Who in the Sims.

I removed my Youtube account because it wouldn't any use to me, I don't publish films from video cameras because I believe dangerous to show yourself on the internet because it can get stolen and edited or I might end as victim of computer crime.



I have a feeling I cannot trust Youtube anymore because of October and my video was only a fan video.

All my videos are still there on Youtube because I give credit to the original people of the stuff I used in the videos.

its only because of the copy rights to Doctor Who and the Sims names. if your afraid of posting video of yourself, you can set your videos to prevent play on other websites, but it doesn't prevent the video file from being downloaded as an .flv file. I have notice some of my videos popping up on other websites which is concerning me

there is some people who don't credit on Youtube

its how their lawyers have it set up, just by using the name, is in their view stealing their trademarked name, even if your crediting the original creator, its something to do with intellectual property rights, so when they prevent you from uploading a video, youtube is protecting themselves from a lawsuit, you should read the terms of use for you tube, they have been removing alot of fan edits lately

I don't even go on youtube

I've had three videos deleted for "copyright infringement". I managed to put two of them back up giving proper credit to those who needed it. They've been on since.
