Here is your chance to gibber baby-talk nonsense about your kitty and/or favorite animal. Their cuteness, their funny behaviors, and how much you love them.

Because i dont know about you, but i occasionally look like a idiot talking about my kitty. I lub him. He's such a kitty. He's like Weeeee! "I'm a kitty!" Then he'll jump up and claw at me through a space between the door and the wall. Ohh he's such a cute claw kitty. Claw kitty! Claw! Yes! Or he'll be stalking one of the other cats or pouncing them. Kill Genki! Kill!

And i can't type or move but he won't stay off my lap when i sit.... and he looks so adorable! It is liquid cute! He's all like, "I'm a cute kitty!" And "I'm gonna sprawl out with my little closed eyes and put my head on your arm and look so cute!"

Eeeeeeeee!

My cat, Sunny, has Aspergers-- I mean, even more so than most cats are autistic anyways.

She's incredibly odd. And cute. And she's the guard of the bathroom. If anyone goes into the bathroom, she has to be in there with them. She also tries to jump down your pants while you're, um... doing your business.

This really freaked out a guest of mine once. I had to assure him she does it to everybody. She likes to curl up in the bottom of the pants, all cozy and dark. I've gotten used to it.

Though there are certainly days I just don't want a cat in my pants. And so I have to be careful and not let her in. She gets upset and then pouts. And finally resigns to get a drink from the sink faucet.

My cat, Pegasus, does the same thing. I have to warn the few guests who don't know of this behaviour about it, because if they don't fully shut the door for some reason... she will barge in and leave the door wide open.

She also refuses to drink out of water bowls, she only likes to drink out of the running bathtube faucet. I'm trying to get her out of this, because running water like that isn't good.

I guess I'm odd in a way, I don't speak to my cat in baby talk. I speak to her as I would another person. Sometimes I think she may be able to understand a few things, but I could just be reading too much into that.

My cat Stinker wants to be fed all the time. He won't have anything to do with me or anyone else until he wants food. And then once he gets it, he ignores us again.

I was thinking, what is it with aspies and cats?

I've read about aspies having love for animals in general, but it seems like the majority are major cat lovers (myself included). I've gone through tons of different kind of pets, but I always find myself coming back to kitties.

I only have a few theories...I like that they purr when they're happy, or growl when they aren't (so you immediately know what mood they're in), they don't DEMAND attention, fairly self-sufficient, playful...that's about all the theories I have

I'm a dog person. I get annoyed at people who are afraid of dogs. I've grown up with dogs all my life and I understand them very well. I can look into a dog's eyes, gauge their body language, and know EXACTLY what they're thinking.

I've noticed this too. I've also heard that animals feel more connected to aspies though I don't remember where I heard this. It makes sense because every pet I've ever had or seen were always drawn to me.

his name is Gus, which is short for Gussaq (not sure about the spelling :S) which means "white man" in Yupiik, because he's a white kitty :D

Partner is an absolutely awesome dog.

My cat, Puffy, is the mother of three boys, Peter, Paul and Prince.

Samantha, my first Lynx point, was a very beautiful cat. She loved music, played with toys and loved water. She was my best friend for 20 years.
