Isn't it strange when innate qualities are complimented?

Like some comment about eyes, followed with by "thanks"... as if they climbed Mount Everest to get the eyes...

When some compliments a innate ability or quality … it used to confuse me . Like , don’t they have some abilities that are unique to them, that maybe or not ., we share or have common . So are they including themselves in the compliment and just not feeling acknowledged about it . And how should I respond.

Not really, people compliment what they appreciate, even if you were born with it.

I find it funny when people talk about achieving this or that and others thinking it's so wonderful when the innate abilities of that person are why they achieved such. Gaining things because you have no trouble gaining them isn't anything. Gaining things when you have great difficulty, are those worthy of respect.

Humans are quite strange.

When someone compliments me on things that are only related to my appearance it annoys me. I'm not into spending an insane amount of time on makeup or anything like that so when people compliment me on my appearance like I spent five or more hours doing my hair and skincare routine it freaks me out.
