I don't get why every seems to we wearing them there completely unflattering and everyone else wears them to. People are such sheep! Man they cost £100 for ugly boots ! WWWHYY??? I just laugh when i see them on the inside.

Just needed to rant about the sheep of fashion.

Reminds me of the plain expensive handbag trend. You know those boring beige handbags that were better than it's duplicates simply b/c they were more expensive. I couldn't believe from watching the news the number of women buying into that.

I have no idea except if it's for personal taste why ppl with lot's $$$$$$ pay for things that look bad or plain. I think the herd follows b/c they want some status too.

Oh, I am another hater of Uggs. And what's sadder is that they make them for BABIES. Yes, infants. WTH?

Oh, another ugly shoe is those stupid crocs. Who thought that gardening shoes would be appropriate for everyday wear???

I can't stand looking at Uggs. I can't stand the looks of them. I think I'll stick with my Sid shoes, thank you. :O)

I don't like them all that much, but I got a cheap version (that is actually kind of cute) that is without the sheep fur and is just as comfy :D

the whole point of uggs was to be bedroom slippers to relax in at home on cold nights. having uggs that are 100 pounds a pair are just lame, how can they justify charging that much?.

me thinks people should just wear uggs as house shoes and not fashion accessories.

I have friends w/ several pair fo those things. They look hideous! I don't care how comfy they are -- they look like those damn jelly shoes from the 80's! Good God, those were bad, too.

You'd think they'd be good for walking in snow, but they're not. I had a pair once and they leaked after about 15 minutes of walking in slushy snow. Once they're wet, they'r heavy as hell to walk in, too. No use for them whatsoever.

Don't get me wrong. They're perfectly good shoes to put on after surfing, as were intended. Let's keep it that way.

Buying a pair of uggs is like buying yourself kankles... that's seriously what they look like!

They also make them in sandals and "shearling bunting" for babies
http://shop.nordstrom.com/SR?KeyWord=ug ... wordSearch

I'm going to go look up crocs and kankles now..... 8O

Edit...so crocs are the plasticy slippers that look like swiss cheese

And kankles.....are the....things that are like..um..camel toe? Or muffin top?

From what I found you don't buy them to wear

kankles are what happens when your calves are so fat you can't tell where your ankles are.

They can be good for indoors. I don't personally wear them. I just wear socks during the cool nights at home.
They are also a pain when they're made of sheepskin leather because I can't wear them outside when the weather is bad. I'm scared of ruining them. When it is fine out and cool enough to wear them, I have two pairs of zip-up suede knee high boots with fur on the exterior AND a proper rubber sole (unlike that sh***y foam sole on Uggies). A better, more presentable alternative to Uggies IMO.

No one around here wears Uggs anymore. Now everyone's moved on to Vans.

Woah, lots of Ugg haters here. I like it when girls wear them with skinny jeans - leg tucked in to the boot. They look quite good with a vest or hoodie or something.

Crocs, on the other hand...
