She's adorable.

I take it, the baby is a she?

Yes. She's a she. Her name is Olivia Paige. She just turned 9 months old the other day.

Normally I don't like babies but this one's an acception.

she's a newborn in that pic. What do you expect, she'd hardly ever seen another human being from the outside before. That with her eyesight at that point, I probably looked pretty funky.

I'm uploading a video right now. another hour or so to go for the convert from QT to MPEG and then I'll have to upload it to photobucket or youtube or both.

What a sweet little baby. :O) I love babies.

So how are you finding fatherhood?

It must be quite a responsibility, she should keep you occupied at least.

she's a VERY well-mannered child. Only fusses when she's hungry or tired. I've had it easy being a stay-at-home daddy.

She makes eye-contact, smiles, coos, babbles (getting into polysyllabic baby words like "bu-bu", "da-da" and "guh-da-ba"). Kinda concerned that she's giggled before when we've played hide-and-seek and tickling her a couple of months ago but she hasn't done that in a while. Now she'll sort of laugh through her nose when she finds something amusing.

The camera's got a very sensitive mic so you can hear cars going by even though we're not even near the street but for some reason, you can't hear my voice or the voice of my neighbor Jack very well.
