I heard they used maggots way back in the olden days to eat away gangrene in legs and other limbs. :x

I've seen them in the ER on a homeless guy with a deep wound on his leg.
We also kept them in the pharmacy for certain wounds. Glad I was never the nurse who had to "administer" them. I have a thing about worms.

That was kind of cute. Did you know giraffe babies have to survive a 6 foot drop when born?

I've seen births of some cows and it always astonished me how they recovered so quickly and how quickly the babies would get on their little hind feet. :)

I'm wondering if I should stay away from beef for now on. :(

The first video was kind of a letdown. I searched it on youtube and it turns out it was only a pus-filled cyst. I was expecting a huge botfly maggot or something.
