Are any of you guys housebound (or semi-housebound?)

When I was 16 or so I started to not go out as much and started to hang out with less and less people. This kept up till I was about 18 or so. After this I pretty much quit hanging out with everybody and stopped going out. If I did (go out) it was maybe only 2 times a month or so. From about the time I was 20 until now (I'm 21 now) I've started to leave the house only when I have to (which is HARDLY ever). I don't have any friends anymore (by choice) so I don't really have much reason to go out, plus I can't keep jobs (the only work I ever get is temporary farm work). I don't even leave the house to shop or get the mail. Other people do that for me (whenever a family member goes out to shop I get them to pick up some groceries for me and pay them). I hate being like this, it really disturbs me. Not going out for such long stretches can really mess with your head.

Is anybody on here housebound, or at least semi-housebound? Don't feel shy to admit to it if you are (I'm sure lots of you guys are).

Yes, go out to shop, but hurry back with a feeling of relief when I`m home again. Like to take the trips out early in the morning, less people out, and hurry back so I can get some peace. Last time I got a speeding ticket, was on a run like this, speeding home. The cop asked why I was driving so fast, when I said "to get home fast so I dont have to see you people" he got a little miffed, poor thing. I guess he thought I was talking about them, the cops. I meant people. Dont care if you wear a crown, lewis pants , nothing at all or black N`blue uniforms, still just people to me. Rip it off, and you have a naked human, no matter what. You cant hide from me behind your clothes, they matter not.

I'm semi house bound as you can tell more so than I used to be. I don't drive anymore since the wreck and can't stay in one place. Sometimes I have to sleep over at my friend's or mom's to get away. It really sucks and there's no public transportation here except an expensive cab. I hate it and I hate how these streets are set up so you can't even walk. :(

Sure... Haha. It's because you are a forum addict. :)

I LOVE bugging you about your forum addiction. You've posted 9x more posts than me and you joined a week or two before me. :) :) :)

I only leave the house once every few weeks to withdraw some cash. Oh and I go to dentist appointments, opticians, etc, but those are only once a year. Basically my day consists of 12 hours of sleeping and then 12 hours of sitting. It's a finely tuned balance that ensures that I never over exert myself. 8)

I have always had "something" to do (school) most of my life so i have never got stuck indoors longer than a few weeks. I dont particulary like being anywhere than home but its not good for me to always sit home alone.
