Hey, everyone. I'm in the process of creating a site that consists of links to free patterns or tutorials for gothic(ish) clothings, and I was wondering if some of you could take a look and make sure I haven't done anything chronicably stupid yet. I'm not a computer person, so I'm just hosting it on freewebs, 'cause that's what my sis, the "computer weenie," told me to do.

Wow, cool site! I like it! I never imagined people could make their own goth clothes; I thought you could only look goth by buying stuff at Hot Topic.

A common misconception. Many "true" goths, whose number I don't think I have officially joined, find it distateful to shop at Hot Topic, seeing as anyone can shop there, and buying from a chain store is not particularly individual. However, buying goth clothing online is rather expensive, therefore I have endevored to create a resource for those of us who want cool clothing, but do not have unlimited piles of gold in our dungeons.

Oh wow!! That is really cool. I'm sure lots of people will appreciate your effort. I'm not of this culture but I think it is an awesome idea none the less.

There is a lot of stuff on there that is not originally intended to be gothic, such as edwardian and victorian clothing, vintage stuff, etcetera.

I like the site, I do have one little problem with white lettering on black back rounds, which make the letters sort of blurry to me, My site also uses a black back round but I use a green lettering which make it easier of my eyes to focus, i am not into goth but I don't have any problem with the culture, or people. I do wear a lot of black and wouldn't be caught dead in white clothing

I might change the color of the lettering sometime. It's just how it came automatically.

I'm pretty clumsy with fabric but I'd luv to learn some of that stuff. I've always wanted to get into different patterns.

Some of the patterns, especially the skirts, are really easy. Also, you could visit Antimony and Lace (link at the bottom of my home page). They have some very easy/non-sewing patterns.

I bet you can also find a lot of sewing/fabric handling tips online too. But I don't know where. I learned all of what I know from peoples directly.

I'll see if I can find some good basic tutorials on how to sew, handle fabric, etc. and post them. Right now I am adding jacket patterns

looked great, Im not quite a goth though, and I am terible with making anything, such as my faild attempts at art. It had a good amount of information too. By the way I stumbled upon your site while following a link in a WP forum, actualy it was this one.
