For me...

My mother put me in music after school in kindergarten...

In grade 1 I chose to take archaeology at lunchtimes...

In grade 4, 5 or 6 I was in basic drawing at lunchtimes... I forgot to go to a lot of them...

In my elementary school's after-school daycare I was in Mad Science... that was my favorite one. I also enjoyed the arts and crafts classes with an old woman who would come in... we all did this.

My mother put me in badminton in grade 5 after school... I didn't like it much; I was self-conscious and bored...

Tons and tons of music. Also chess, for which I am considered a varsity athlete. And Academic Team/Quiz Bowl, my second varsity sport. I do not like artsy-craftsy type of stuff. I have never voluntarily touched a crayon, and no art classes since middle school. Thankfully music covered my fine arts requirement.

Oh yeah, I forgot, I was in the choir in grade 3, and in the daycare at the elementary school I acted in the daycare play... same one every year; the Nativity. In grade 3 as the third innkeeper, in grade 4 as a wise man or shepherd, I forget which. Very small parts... I was kind of disappointed and even remember the lines.

All I can think of right now is my dad used to make me go to boyscouts and play sports and stuff. I ended up hating all of it.

In 1st grade my mom wanted all of us kids to play music so we took violin lessons. Then afterwards art became more appealing to me so I had art lessons with an art teacher about a year later. In 3rd grade my mom enrolled me in Girl Scouts, and that lasted until 4th grade. In 5th grade I picked up the trombone, and I've played that all through school, and I'm going to play it in college and probably the rest of my life. Then in middle school I got into sports (soccer, track, and fast pitch), and in 8th grade I got into leadership. I was still in band at the time. In high school the sports I did were cross country and track and I was still in band. I also did National Honor Society during my Junior and Senior years. In college I'm going to do cross country, track, and band so far. They also have all sorts of clubs but I don't think I'm going to have time for a club because of all the homework I'm going to under lol. Good thing the cross country team is in the NCAA III division.

Chess club and chemistry club at school along with scouts one evening a week. At university I was a member of the ham radio and fell walking clubs.

For school?

I did chess club for a couple of years (5th and 6th perhaps? I don't really remember), Power of the Pen (7th and 8th grade is all that exists; I did both years), then drama club in freshman year (head of the makeup department for two plays, after which I quit - the new director and I did not get along well at all), then debate club in sophomore year. I took choir, but that was offered as a class (although we did go off site a lot for performances and competition), so I don't count that as extra-circular for my school. I'm not taking anything this year; I just want to get through it.

Non-school activities were girl scouts (1st to 3rd grade, I think), piano (1st through 7th; I'm starting again soon), guitar (four months through this year), and horseback riding (3rd and still going).
