Ever since I saw the Englished dubed Sailor Moon episodes, I fell in love with the name Serena. Always hated my real name, Jessica. So blah and since it was a very popular name, there was always at least another Jessica in my class. If I ever have kids I will name one of the girls Serena.

I like Jack and James. Those two sound really cool to me. :)

Rhionainne.

Its gaelic.

"Re-Ann-Ann"
If you say it out loud.

And it would have been my name if my dad wasn't such a gerk.

Now I just long to be called by nicknames.
My favorite being Annie.

I remember when I was in elementary school, I had all sorts of names I'd enjoy for phases.
Names that I thought I might name my children, or re-name myself, or would use in stories.
I've always loved strange names.
And names in general.

Yay for labels!

My brother's name is Jack and his son's name is James. Weird.

Rex, it is more unique than "Nick" There must be 10 Nick's at my school. I hate hearing "Hey Nick!", and someone is talking to someone else.

That's my middle name too.

I don't know there's a lot of names I've always wanted so I'll have to think on that and narrow them down to one that suits me if it has a meaning... :?

Interestingly enough, if I ever have a daughter this will be her name and for the same reason.

Though I must add that the spanish version of that anime was a WHOLE lot different than the english one. Having seen the original Japenese as well I can say the english dub character was horribly, horribly butchered.

Studying the name as well I'd say if I have a son his name would be alexander. both be classical greek era names...so I guess they'd fit together. :P

For myself.. well, lets just say my name is unusual enough yet 'normal' that I have no qualms with it.

If i ever have kids, I'll follow Frank Zappa's example and give them unique names.

I want to have a last name that people can pronounce so I won't be forced to make up a silly stage name.

I've tried going by my first name + middle name, but that didn't help. My middle name is a more common surname, but apparently, people have trouble pronouncing it too.

I've tried changing the spelling of my last name to make it easier to pronounce. Still, no one could pronounce it.

I think I'm going to have to go through my family tree and try every last name held by an ancestor. I can't go by my first name alone - it's too common.

Jillian. I love the name Jillian.

I'd also like to keep my first name and change my last name to Ravenswood. My real last name is too common.

I really really wanted to be called "Ada" as a kid. Something about the palindromes really appealed to me as a kid. Alais/Elise (same name, variations) also were favorites.
