Im interested in what other forums people like using, NT or AS.

I find it quite hard posting on NT forums as my writing is not as chatty or flexible as NTs, so Im interested to hear of any tolerant/welcoming NT forums.

Also a new AS forum would not go a miss as its often nice to try something different or for when here is a bit slow.

You do hear a lot of scare stories about other forums though so it would be good to have some recommendations.

Thanks :sunny:

What are your interests? And where you do live? In the United Kingdom? That's a few things to think about. Follow your interests.

I don't mix too well on NT-style forums either. I get bored very easily and can come across as rather standoffish and not very personable, but helpful all the same.

If you like video games then the site gamefaqs. For example skyrim is a really popular board on that site. You can ask questions on the game, or help answer questions.

I live in the UK, but I dont have any specific interests that I want to talk about, just general topics.

It depends on your interests I guess. When I was younger I used to go to a website directed for teen girls and I was pretty popular there. A few years ago I was active on a website for Eurasians, Eurasian Nation (People who are half Asian half White) and I was a pretty active member but the forum's dead now and I'm guessing you're not Eurasian. lol You just have to find an interest and go to a website that you share common ground with, even if it's just being an exclusive male/female website. There's a forum that I sometimes go to for my social anxiety and the people there are very nice but it isn't very very active. http://www.socialanxietysupport.com/forum/

I've thought about looking for other forums to. What seems to work is a forum based around an interest but allow for sub-topics or even Off Topic areas.

My biggest interest is Cinema.

I might even consider Coffee an interest. Lately, I'm getting away from Lattes back to basic black coffees from around the world. I'm a fan of coffee from Kona, Hawaii(it's said the volcanic activity in the area affects the flavor). I also tried one from Rwanda that was a good medium coffee brew.

Digital Spy would be the obvious choice but it's so large as to be impersonal.

This is pretty much the only other forum I go to besides WP:

http://www.psychforums.com/

They have subforums for pretty much any mental health issue that you can think of, even AS.

The only problem with this site is that it doesn't move as quickly as WP, but then again, very sites few do.

Oh yes, I go on that site occasionally as well but I usually only talk about the Myers Brigg test on it.
