Obi-Wan caught a little field mouse in the basement but he was just toying with it so I captured it and was going to let it outside but I wanted to take pictures first. I noticed that it's jaw was hanging by a tendon so it must've been in incredible pain so I gave it a firm flick on the skull killing it.

I hope that was the right thing to do. Would probably have died of shock anyway. Probably instinct not to show true level of pain, survival of the fittest - etc
