Earthing should not be done by attaching to metal frame but by other means such as with the loom. This is where you COULD be having problems.
When you wire it up. Secure the earth, and then go for the other 2 and play with the power function with ignition on then off. If the radio fails to power on at ignition off, then you have it correct.
If it powers on with the ignition off you have them wired wrong.
If the memory settings are wiped with ignition off, the live/permanent live have been wired wrong - not dangerous.
When wring like this, just have it close to the hole it will go in so you can remove it and gain access to the rear.

yes i have but it up whith yellow wire since i cant wind red one even my book says there should be red i just dont see one is :O well...i guess u can still but it working whith yellow?
