Anyone get song lines stuck in your mind for literally years. This is the new one, beats Bob Marley, he's lingered for a good ten years.

:bom:

Yes. It's part of my 'Tourette syndrome with obsessive compulsive behaviours'.

Family legend has it I would sing jingles mimicking the words perfectly in my crib, long before I ever 'talked', so I guess 'ear worms' would snuggle into my brain from the beginning.

I remember being 47 and singing "Who'se got the Hootch" until my boss actually let me go, because the other workers could not stand one more chorus.

Think my family would disown me for "Cumacumacumacumacuma chamelion." It's cruel to have such things playing over and over in your mind!

Certain songs bubble up into consciousness most every day. Yesterday I was driving to pick up a six pack, and The Cowardly Lion's song popped into my head, so I sang it out loud.
