Right now I am watching a show on TLC. A family is busy going through a maze made in a large field of dried corn stalks.
I was wondering...have any of you been through a maze like this? Or any other maze?
I liked figuring out mazes on paper when I was a kid.
I've never been through a corn field maze.

I know that when I was a child there was this place where kids might have birthday parties, and there was this headge maze, It was ages ago but I remember trying to find things in it.

I've always found them boring. other kids would run around into dead ends while I'd just stick to the right side thus eventually finding the exit

I've never done a life-size maze before, but I've always wanted to. I'd probably feel tempted to cheat though, and sneak through the corn stalks ;)

Corn mazes are awesome. Some of them are very big, and have games/puzzles to find and solve, so it's a lot more than just following a logical path to an exit.

The only true logical way in and out of a maze is to choose which side of the walls you want to follow, do not change halfway through, you will come across dead ends, but if you keep you hand brushing alongside it continuosly - you should be fine.

The last large(ish) maze I went in was the one at Hampton Palace in London (somewhere, I think)

I always used to cheat at mazes when I was a kid. I would start in the middle and work my way out. A cornfield maze would be fun to try, though. :)

I went through one this Monday. Two pumkin patches near us have them.
