Overall, it's just been a bad year for me. Mental anguish and too many Kyle Busch victories (like the kid, but it got to be overwhelming)...

enough already. Get me into the new year!! !!

2008 was a mixed year for me. The first half sucked because I had a breakdown and ended up in the hospital on my birthday (which is feb 19th). I was suicidal and even psychotic. It continued until we got to go on a nice vacation in June but I almost didn't get to go because I was cutting on myself. I promised that I wouldn't be a danger to myself on the cruise and I didn't hurt myself as promised. But in August things started turning around. I was beginning to get better because my business started taking off out of the blue after over 10 years of failure. It got even better from there. Stores started carrying my fine art cards. Then I took a business class and wrote a business plan which projects our income of being over $200,000 net next year! Hopefully it goes according to plan. My mom and several business experts say that our business has the potential to make millions within 5 years. In November we made more money in that one month (around $2-3,000) than our business has made in 10 years! Then I started becoming manic in a good way. I came up with an idea that doesn't sound like me at all, speaking at autism and mental health conferences. I want to make a difference in the world on how people view others with disabilities. After the first of the year, we have several zoos and casinos are going to order from us. Then the Humane Society wants us to make postcards with my art on it for them and same with some vets. I am an animal artist. Also, in February of next year, I will be in a book called Artism Anew (go to www.artismtoday.com ) and my art is the bird on the second page with the sunset. I will also be in a magazine called Dog Fancy soon as well. I have been depressed most of my life, its good that things are turning around. My brother graduated college with honors this year and is looking for a job. The biggest negative is the economy. That could have an effect on our business and many others as well. I pray 2009 will be as good as I think but I say bad things will happen with the economy. My speaking dates of as now are February 4th at the Capitol building, February 10th at a parent's meeting, and May 29th at an autism conference somewhere north of us. I have the info somewhere but not in front of me right now. The speeches range from just 5 minutes to over 20 minutes, depending on where I am speaking. I hope to contact other places as well to speak there. Right now I won't get paid in cash (because I am a beginner) but will get paid in having a booth to sell my stuff. When I become professional and it will be part of my business, I will get paid. Speakers get paid big bucks once they go to a lot of conferences and become well known. I'm sorry that it has been a bad year for you. The first half like I said before was terrible for me as well.

I'd say it wasn't so bad ... OJ Simpson gets sent to prison ... my arch-nemesis from high school passed away, as did my wife's former boyfriend ... I got a raise in pay that puts me well above even the best-paid United Auto Worker (that is, if any still have jobs by now) ... all the propositions I voted for passed, and even though I did not vote for Mr. Obama I am pleased with the way he is building his administration in order to hit the ground running.

Yes, life is good. :D
