Um, ok. This is how I talk. How else would I be expected to talk? Been lots of these talk-like threads lately. That last one I made was to mock this trend. Because that's what I am: a trend-mocker. Yeah, this is how I talk.

This is me booking a Taxi home from my Clubhouse.

Me: "Ello my nyme is Shelby an Oi'd like ta book a Taxi."

Air Head Receptionist: "Your name is Sholby, okay."

Me: "I said dat my nyme is SHELBY!"

Me: "You can pick my up at de groi hause at de end of Michuad Crescent."

Air Head Receptionist: "Michord Crescent...Okay."

Me: "Oi said MICHAUD CRESCENT!"

Me: "Oi'm not goin to bovver wiv ya anymore! Ya don't even myke an effort ta understand a Bloody word dat Oi tell ya!"

Well pretty much that's what it's like unless I'm stuck on something and then I talk too much but most times not sure what to say.

I know what you mean, Mish. I'm like that, too.

If I were to type how I actually talk, it would probably be something like this:

"Yeah... um, me too. I know exactly what you feel like, as I'm the same, so..."

*trails off into silence*

"Yep."

Same here "Wow, me too. I do the same thing......How about when you want to say something, but it feels like there is a big rock or some kind of block keeping you from saying it.... And then you get a bit frustrated. "

Or something like this " I thought, that you thought, that I knew what you were talking about, so I decided to keep talking and then I noticed that you really didnt know, so I decided to explain what it was that I thought you knew......"

Hmmm. Alot of silence too. Mostle silence, but also, if I'm talking about something I like, I can talk and talk and talk and talk..... And then I get that feeling when everyone is over it and talking about something else, that I still want to talk more about what ever it was we (or should I say I) was talking about..

I like listening more than I like talking. The only times I like talking is when the conversation is about something that interests me. But often when I'm talking about something that really excites me, it comes out all wrong and garbled.

So I usually just say, "Hi."

Did you know{insert fact that may or may not have anything to do with the current coversation and is something no one else cares about} Isn't that fascinating!

I just say something self-centred and that kills any thread dead in the water 99% of the time...
