I was on CBC News once. Someone came to the YMCA to interview some people as to why we were there, and they just so happened to pick us. My mother told them why were at the YMCA and pictures were taken of both of us in the computer room looking for jobs online. :)

I've had my photo in three different issues of the same mag (a relatively bigtime mag, stocked at Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc). The first was just a random occurance with me in the background. The second was in a group shot for a story on the local races that my friends and I would organize. The third was an action shot of me during a very prestigeous race, which was nice, except that the person who wrote the recap of the event got my last name wrong.

Photo of me was on back page of local newspaper 20 years ago (when I was 12 or 13), for finding 30+ 'four-leafed clovers' on lawn under hammock, at my father's house one weekend. Dunno' if they brought me extra luck or not, though-am not seriously superstitious about those sorts of things.

Yes - as a child I was the first-form whizz on my high school''s "Crime Prevention Quiz" team and was pictured in the newspaper handcuffed to the trophy.

I have been in two Line Dancing videos sold on the high street and I have been in pictures in dancing magazines more than once.

(There are also pictures of me on the web, but I'm not going to tell you where!)

I was quoted in a story for our area newspaper once, and I've had a couple of letters printed in response to stories I've read. That's about it.

Not including Cycling Time Trial results in the local rag, oh and I got a whole paragraph in "Cycling" when I crashed in a National.

I have a very famous right hand!

It appeared holding a hammer in a picture in Motorcycle Weekly and it appeared on the Nine O,Clock news once.

I will soon be making a full "guest" apperance on channel fours "Time Team" with that Robinson chap who was in Black Adder, dont know when its on, its about Edward the third or King Aurther or something?

Best claim to fame though is appearing on a record sleeve along with my Triumph Adventurer motorbike around 1980, It was by Dumpys Rusty Nuts and called Just for Kicks

I had my name in the paper for several academic honors in high school and college.

I was told I was on television when they televised our local Literacy Council Adult Spelling Bee. I have competed for four years now and done well. This year, our team made it to the ninth round. I was excited.

Our family's name was also in the donations section of the paper when we contributed to our local Humane Society.

When I was a small kid, we had a wicked winter storm in Massachusetts and I went out into the snow, which was well over my head. I got stuck and was crying and they took my picture and plastered it onto the front page.

While working a summer landscaping job where we cut the grass on all the roads of Virginia Beach, my friend and I helped try to put out a fire in this guy’s van. My picture was taken waving traffic around with my safety hazard vest as the fire department extinguished the van after it went completely up in flames. My friend and I just got out before it became engulfed.

I was interviewed outside the theatre when the Star Wars Special Editions came out. I slept at the theatre all night and got the first ticket, so they interviewed me on the news in Charlottesville.

I was in the paper in high school for being top math student, winning the Norfolk State University Math Bee, and participating in BC Calculus, which at the time was only offered after school to selected students. I was also in several times for baseball and basketball.

In college, I was on TV a lot at athletic events for Miami, Louisville, and Virginia. The best was at UVa when I made Sports Center and Headline News as UVa romped UNC and Maryland to finish tied for first in basketball in the ACC. I was always on the floor behind the basket for games, so I was in the shot a lot. One time, that included a crowd shot with me front and center holding up the #1 finger and showing off my 7M3 shirt. My friends who are in the band 7 Mary 3, saw the clips on SC and HN in Orlando where they had relocated to and called me up. I confirmed that I wore the shirt to promote them, just like I always did when we hung out in Virginia. More recently I was on the sidelines for the Miami-Louisville football game in the Orange Bowl a few years ago, so I was in a lot of shots for that game, in particular when Devin Hester brought a kick back to the house in the Miami second half comeback. I almost forgot one. I was on the Miami bowling team and we got interviewed on the local news. We each through a strike in unison and then the sportscaster threw one. During practice before the live broadcast, he was about as accurate as a Stormtrooper, but somehow threw a strike when the camera was rolling.

I used to write for a music magazine called Artrocker, so in a sense I guess I was in it. My words were anyway. It was sold in Borders, cool music stores, and some random newsagents. I wrote three cover features for them, probably the best was my Le Tigre one. I left because I felt it was going downhill. I'm sure I'll find another place to write for soon.

Marvel Comics used a quote from one of my online reviews in a press release once.

In graduate school I was a free lance writer who had several articles published in music magazines. I didn't think of the written word.

When I was 15 and just started my high school there were people from our local newspaper who were writing an article about our school (I must add that my high school is the oldest Polish high school which still works; it was built in the beginning of the 17th century but it didn't have anything to do with said article). They took two photos of my class; on the first one only one part of my face is visible while the second photo shows only my hair with a braid plaited.

I also sent several funny drawings made by me to... well, I even don't know how to call it in English but there are booklets with jokes and funny drawings like mine published once or twice a month and three of those drawings were published.
