Anyone else notice how frightening some of the women are in the makeup commercials? their facial features are so "extreme" new and cotoure, that they kind of scare me o_o.

hours of makeup and hair, professional lighting, photoshop(non-tv ads),and nice angles. women's facial features are exploited like crazy so you can see how amazing the company's makeup makes you look.
it's all rather scary how fake people on make up commercials can look. young girls then think that's how they should look

I dont know if it's photo imaging or not, but some of the women's eyes are set really far apart, and their cheekbones are so high that they look like aliens. (i'm not saying that having set apart eyes and high cheekbones are a bad thing, they just put so much makeup on them that they look fake) and some of them when they look at the camera are smiling with O_O eyes, and that's frightening too.

I actually find the horribly mangled science more annoying and creepy (in a "somewhere somebody is hearing this and believing it" sort of way) that the barbie doll faces. Uncanny Valley has never had any meaning for me.

I've heard that women in their twenties are now having Botox and plastic surgery. This is the result, they look odd.

Many of the models are extreemly underweight, which is why thier cheek and jaw bones look so pronounced. What is really scary is to see the same models with no make up on. They look like death walking.
