I met a little boy with AS the other day that reminded me so much of my self as a child. He was an amazing artist who could reproduce anything on paper after looking at it for just a moment and was very OCD about a lot of things.
He made me miss my childhood where being different was adorable instead of unstable.

Anyone have any adorable childhood stories, possibly related to having AS, that make you wish you were in elementary again?

I don't have anything to make me wish go back to my childhood self, I've lived MY life and only I know what I've been through.
I laugh at kids that think they are cool, or the ones that smoke and think they look "cool". They haven't lived and don't know anything about life, still suckling and living off their parents.
There's no point in thinking life was "better" as a kid, since it's already in the past, it cannot be changed, and to think about it will only make you feel miserable. One has to look forward, not backward.

Eh... I don't remember much of my childhood... but I remember it being harder. I couldn't do anything to help mum with bills and such... once I got older, I could and did.

I wouldn't want to go back and change it, but if I could go back and observe, see what I've forgotten through the eyes of an adult, I'd give a lot to do that. It'd be an amazing experience.

I'm just too embarrassed to talk about my childhood much.

I had a wonderful childhood, psychological problems and Asperger's aside. There's a lot of things I miss about being a kid: playing video games with my siblings, having cute and innocent imaginary friends, watching awesome cartoons, eating microwaveable calzones and rainbow ice cream... The list goes on and on... *lost in nostalgia*
