Did anybody happen to see the tabloids on Jessica Simpson's weight gain?! I see them at the supermarket checkout lines all the time. I don't buy them but there's no escaping the eye- catching headlines when you go and pack your groceries. Now one of them is even saying that Obama himself commented on her fatness! Man! What's the big deal! They act like she's 700 pounds! I got a feeling that soon there is going to be the new Jessica Simpson diet coming out in order to make millions. I think she's getting paid to gain the weight and then getting paid to lose the weight as a model for the probable new fad diet. I don't like the idea of the mixing in of politics and celebrity as far as Obama goes. Why are the tabloids doing this? Is this a spin off of Monroe and the Kennedy's?
Sometimes I feel that the tabloids are making a mockery of our new president because he's a man of color. I feel like they are always setting him up. What does he care if Simpson's fat or not?! I find Michelle Obama VERY attractive...big-boned but a LOT of WOMAN there! The "media" is sooo evil  Always lookin' up people's cracks.

I don't pay attention to those kinds of things.

Can't stand her. Couldn't care less of what happens to her.

The unflattering outfit she wore was likely picked out by a stylist, a mistake on their part, but I really don't care if finally someone popular has a little bit of meat on their bones, good for her, i say :).

Most singers and celebrities have dramatic weight gains and weight loss because they take pills and other "legal" drugs. They don't last long so their body has to get back into its normal habit before they get back on their "diet pills".

I always make fun of those magazines while we're in the checkout lines...tabloids and soap opera magazines and other silly gossip whatevers...I can't believe people actually buy them :x

I flat out refuse to believe it.

I used to like the super-fake ones though, like "Batboy has demon child with face of goat and body of Satan" =D Those ones were crazy...I used to believe them when I was little o_O

Though I suppose some of that stuff could be true, I remember one was about a guy cutting off his own arm to get handicapped parking. There's no way that that hasn't happened yet.

Yes, it's all quite odd.

Though I must admit I sometimes pick up copies of Hello and National Enquirer if I see them lying about on the train.
But there's no way I'd ever pay for that garbage.

What I find truly baffling is people who actually write letters to magazines and newspapers just to say things like "I think it's great that Brad and Angelina have found happiness together" or "Geri Halliwell looks great and is a true inspiration to all of us". :?:
