Change majors?

I have a special interest in sound engineering, like the sound effects found in films and other media. I've experimented with all kinds of audio when I was younger, but I don't know if I should make it into a career. Anthropology's another interest of mine and I'm currently studying it at college, but now that I've found my interest in audio deeper than anthropology, I'm torn between staying in the field or changing majors to pursue sound engineering. Any advice please?

Then your work will not be as work but more like something to explore and such...
