Hey. I always liked those "photo's of random thing I saw today" treads, so I'll show you a few pics of...moths.

I left my window open, and a tonne of insects flew in. I took advantage of the little buggers flying at me every two seconds and took some pics for you all :)

Now if only they could stop making that unbelievably annoyoing quasi-grasshopper clicking noise every five seconds so I could get a bit of shut-eye and shake of the grumpiness :(

Cool. :) I'll admit that it is annoying when they fly in, but I guess that they don't know they're being annoying.

Cute! I like the big fat fuzzy one. Bug pictures are awesome. I don't have any on this computer or I'd post a couple too. :B
Ever think of getting one of those cameras (or lenses) that can take really close-up pictures? I want one of those.

thanks :D The buggers are still in my room, and I havn't got the heart to squish them, so I might as well accept I won't be able to sleep again and let a few more in

The pictures were taken using Macro mode on my (pretty basic but nice) digital camera, but I would love a camera that has an ultra hi-fi macro mode :) I'd probably just end up taking pictures of my nostril and telling people they're ultra-high res endoscopy pics

My favorite moth is the Death Heads Hawkmoth

Here's a list of the world's weirdest moths

Notice the luna moth, hummingbird moth, hornet moth, leopard moth, and poplar moth (its wings look like leaves).

Little buggers topic

I detest moths because then I have to get mothballs. Wool is not safe unless accompanied by paradiclorobenzene.
