My son made a movie on his camera and it's saved as a .mov file. He's trying to import it into Power Director but it doesn't recognize those kinds of files. How do I change the file type so that it can import?

There are programs out there that aren't exactly free that'll convert .mov files to mp4 or mpeg. A quick google search should help you out. Search for "mov to mpeg", "mov to mp4" or "convert mov" if you're willing to shell out the cash. They appear to be no more than $30 or so for the most part.

Bah. I'm the queen of google searches. I don't know why I didn't think to do that in the first place.

Thanks, Digger! :)
