That's where I'll be going. With a short pit-stop in Oslo tomorrow (today) before leaving solid land for 10 days.

Have you ever been to Iceland? What should I see? I don't just wanna be mainstream and go to "the usual" places.

I saw on TV where you can charter a "monster truck" that'll take you off-roading through rivers and stuff, to go see the natural hot springs. That would probably be a good time, especially if you could convince them to let you drive for a little while. 8)

They only have off-road cars and drivers during the spring and summer. A bit difficult to drive and navigate through the snow I guess.. But I'm gonna go for a full tour around the whole island. ;)

I had considered it a few years ago, when I was still very interested in (and majoring in) geology.

My interest in that subject has declined a bit, but I still have some interest.

No, no no. Do what Zimmern did:

Eat the Hakarl!

I expect a report on how it tasted.

I heard that they have the best looking ladies there. I would love to see the pictures of some ladies. I don’t mean models or anything but the kind of people you would see on the street. Please bring back and post some pictures of ladies. I always said we should have invaded Iceland instead of Iraq.

The only time I went to Iceland was when a plane to Canada had to stop there for a few hours to get fuel. Although I do want to go to Iceland. :)

Study how unregulated capitalism has benefitted Iceland. It is perfect social experiment.

Well, yeah, it sounds gross when you say it like that.

I thought I heard somewhere that Reykjavik was one of Europe's biggest party towns or something. If you're in to that sort of thing.
