Saw Life of Brian once, it was very funny. I've been meaning to watch it again, along with the other two.

i think someone posts a monty python thread once a month on this site :P

yes, very much so. i own monty python and the holy grail, the meaning of life, a fish called wanda, and the complete flying circus series. life of brian still eludes me though. maybe if i could find a nice cheap version of it. i refuse to pay 20 dollars for it when i bought the meaning of life for $9.99.

Yes, I'm a big Monty Python fan. The humour is so... me :P

I still adore the parrot sketch and the lumberjack song... He's a lumberjack and he's all right :P

To anyone who does not like Monty Python I can only say: "I fart in your general direction".

Yes, I like the Monty Python (Flying Circus) very much so. They're the pinnacle of absurd silliness to me. Almost timeless. I like this one.... (amongst others)

[The audience members at the back of the crowd are having trouble hearing the Sermon on the Mount.]
Man: I think it was, "Blessed are the cheesemakers"!
Gregory's wife: What's so special about the cheesemakers?
Gregory: Well, obviously it's not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

I had a book detailing each monty python episode, including the two made for german TV, and detailing the monty python movies.

The dead parrot sketch and lumberjack sketch are the most favorite of all time.

My personal favorite is the Ministry of Silly Walks (apparently John Cleese's most hated monty python sketch). I also like "Sit on my Face", "Never be rude to an Arab", and "I like Chinese" among other songs. Salad days and the Gumbie characters too! I love many of Gilliam's animations, including the one when an Air Force Pilot who covers his entire head with shaving cream, picks up an old fashioned razor, then decapitates himself.

Dear Sir, I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about all this silliness.

I am a big Monty Python fan. My favorite would have to be the restaurant scene with Mr. Creosote in the movie The Meaning of Life. I also love the animation sequences by Terry Gilliam.
