Yay! My 17 year old son just got his Canadian G2 driver's license! (Not easy.) I am so proud of him!

Thank you, L2S. Now he is learning to drive on those 400 series highways. Very brave! Then he takes another test to get the full G license.

Belated appreciation topic

Many thanks for the warm praises from such considerate members. I have rarely posted anything deeply personal and dear to me, as I thought it might bore others. I know driving is a one of those tasks that is hard for many on the Spectrum.

Driving is definitely hard for ASD people...

I had a hard time learning it because you need to develop a generalized new mental state...I used to concentrate on developing one thing, and end up neglecting everything else.
