I don't like when people don't read every stinking thing I am saying and choose to make their own assumptions when they don't know squat.

It didn't seem like I would have to deal with this crap on WP but I was dead wrong, because I have now noticed there are idiots in here with obvious poor reading skills cause they make an assumption without proof reading and without even asking me for a clarification as to what I have exactly said.

Sorry if I sound so harsh but I am now madder than H e double L about this.

I mean boom I know there are some great people on this forum but now I know there are ignorant idiots in here as well.

I suppose so, but yeah a couple of recent situations on WP makes me regret that I ever even asked for advice or explained this or that problem on here due to idiots failing to read and proofread what I said.

Making me think why even bother asking for advice on WP if im gonna just hear crap from those who cannot even proofread everything I have said.

most people skim over something thats written online and then react before fully thinking. im defintley guilty of this, i dont know why i do it but i guess its because i have a impulse control problem

When you ask for suggestions, you invite comment - if you don't like what is said, that's up to you, but getting angry with them for doing what you've asked is a little bit beyond confusing to me. Advice doesn't mean telling you what you want to hear. Insulting your fellow members by calling them idiots and expecting other people to proofread -your- writing (that's your responsibility) is not going to garner much respect I'm afraid.

Welcome to life. You'll find that to be true of absolutely any place you go... Unless you go somewhere particularly isolated and homogeneously closed-minded, like perhaps an evangelical church or something.

You're going to unnecessarily waste a lot of energy and cause yourself a lot of grief if you expect anybody over the internet to invest enough effort to actually proofread anything. I don't reread or even really focus intently on what I'm reading unless it's something particularly profound or tricky. Most people are going to just glaze over a post, formulate whatever conclusion they see fit and react in similar fashion. That's just how the intarwebs work.

My point is that not many people are going to put forth the effort to even identify that there's something there that needs clarification, let alone ask you for specific details. You'll have to be very specific and clear on the intended meaning of your original post, or offer up clarification yourself if you see that people aren't getting it. When you put yourself out there, people take it or leave it at their leisure; you have to do the best you can to represent yourself properly because you can't expect the world to cover for you like that.

Personally, I usually engineer posts that I want people to think about in such a way that they'll *have* to read them carefully in order to even be able to reply (at least with anything other than peanut gallery spam along the lines of "TL;DR" which can easily be ignored and don't really contribute anything positive or negative to the thread) to basically attract the people I want to talk to while causing the ignorant people I'd prefer not participate to gloss over everything, drool a little and run off without even replying. I'm a huge fan of self-regulating systems and self-verifying codes and standards, etc. Basically, if you're capable of understanding something then you deserve to understand it; if you're incapable then you don't. It all works out for the best automatically.

I understand, that can be annoying. If I cannot read a full post and don't understand fully what it is about, I usually do not reply, it avoids trouble.
