My last CD was William Orbit "Hello Waveforms"
I never had an 8 track or vinyl but I did have a cassette player.
My last tape I think was Duran Duran "Rio" back in the early Eighties...

I still purchase CDs on occasion, since there is a lot of great music that isn't available as downloads.

My last CD purchase was "Sacred Songs" by Daryl Hall - a landmark 1977 recording produced by Robert Fripp (a recording that both the record company & Hall's management tried to suppress, because they thought it wasn't commercial enough & might ruin his career.) - Just got it two weeks ago.

I'm not sure about my last cassette - maybe a privately-produced tape by a local group, sometime in the late '80s.

I don't think I ever purchased an 8-track, but my family had a player/recorder & I used it to make some of my own recordings (back in the '70s.)

The last vinyl LP I bought was "Hounds of Love" by Kate Bush - because it was made of pretty white & mauve vinyl - I don't think I ever played it, since I already had it both on cassette & CD. (It was more a piece of art - and I HAD to own all things Kate at the time.) :)

Last CD: Now 71. Actually, it was a Xmas present, I didn't buy it myself. I don't spend my own money on CDs, you can get music cheap/free of the internet even more easily.

I have never owned an 8-track (dunno what one is) or a record.

The last cassette tape I had was The Squiggles when I was really little, LOL.

My last CD was Station by Russian Circles (which, while not bad, is not as good as their first album).
I have never bought any of the other three formats.

My last CD was Fall Out Boy back in 2007. That was back when I was still purchasing CDs to put the songs onto my iPod. It's way easier now to get them online and especially without paying $15 for a CD you only like two songs on...

This is true, but the sound quality on a CD is notably superior to the standard iTunes quality.

Meh, I could care less about sound quality. Besides, my computer won't play CDs anymore anyway, so there's really no point.

The last CDs I bought were To Know That You're Alive by Kutless and Ending is Beginning from Downhere. I bought them at a Christian retreat last January. Wal-Mart didn't have them online to download or copies inside. I listened to those CDs with my 9+ year old Walkmn CD player. That thing still works in case you are wondering.

My last CD was The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour.

I don't remember what my last cassette tape was -- that's too long ago and I had too many.

I never owned an 8-track (you're confusing the younguns, digger1  ), but my parents had some.

The only vinyl record I ever owned was by The Monkees -- purchased for me after CDs had come out and I no longer had access to a record player.
