Soooo yeah. Might wanna get that checked out. But we also have awesome medicine and stuff now, so maybe you could do something about it yourself, but I guess that's not the responsible thing to tell someone, LOL.

Not likely, but if not treated it can lead to serious health problems and eventually sepsis, which can be deadly.

could you die? Possibly if you don't take antibiotics. I got septaecemia once from a peircing that got infected and I could've died. It's not pleasant at all, so if you've got an absess I strongly suggest some kind of antibiotic.
