Teen with Aspergers!

Okay I know this is going to be a bit of a tricky question but how can a teenage boy with 'mild' aspgergers appear to over teenagers in thier late teens? Can they appear distant or a loof at times? This is why sometimes people can make negative judgements about people with aspgergers. When I say mild aspergers I mean someone who is lower down the autism spectrum.

I would really appreciate some responses to my question. Thanks.
