Has anybody heard of him?

Do you think he had Asperger's?

I don't know if he was aspie, but I have heard of him. My seventh grade math teacher went over him for about two weeks. We even had to do a project based on bucky balls.

I remember being enthralled by his Geodeisic (?) dome, largest enclosed volume for lowest surface area.

Not sure about his personality, but he's among
people I've noted down quotes from over the years.
"Sometimes I think we're alone.Sometimes I think we're not.In either case,the thought is quite staggering" .
I think he was mainly an architect, with some
sacred geometry involved no doubt.Sounds
like an interesting character.

Fuller was an avant-garde architect.

I read about something called a Buckyball in a magazine. Is that the guy who discovered it?

Buckyballs are named after him because their structure resembles his Geodesic Domes.. He's a fascinating guy.

I don't know that it's possible to retroactively diagnose people, but he did have some odd obsessive traits. He updated his diary (which he called the 'Dymaxion Chronofile') every 15 minutes & by the end of his life the complete diary needed 80m of bookshelf space to store it.

The really important question is: who would win in a mad scientist fight between Buckminster Fuller & Nicola Tesla?
