When I was in a hotel in London, they had a "minibar" and I was plotting how to steal out of it, despite not wanting any of the contents, when I see anything locked away, I plot how to steal it, get in or get out. etc. :? Despite not wanting to steal anything. Does anybody else do this :?:

Yes. In fact, I've stolen things in the past.

YES.

Wow. I do it all the time. It's about the only thing I talk about while shopping with my mother. She tells me to stop because I'm not supposed to talk about how easy an item is to steal, etc though.

Stealing is just plain dumb. The mind is put to much better challenges, with puzzles, learning a new language, or reading a book. Why do something that will someday come back to bite you in the butt?

Sometimes I do think, "Wow, this place would be extremely easy to steal from."

Why not do both? I have stolen books before, and then read them.

I haven't stolen a book whilst reading it though. I imagine that would be a challenge.

Well I don't think I would realy think about serously stealing, but I often observe enviroments so I often think about how effective things like entrance bleeping things are, I have a tendency to take note of cameras and where blind spots might be, or even the fact that often after uni I check out JB HiFi and the the securety guaredonly ever checks one compartment of my backpack. Also if I remeber properly I think it was after I played a lot of Oblivion I whent through a period of thinking how to steal things, or when I played a lot of Grand Theft Auto I thought about how to steal cars. I enjoy an enviromental mental challenge, but my morals are too hight to do anything.
