Has anyone recently travelled? Can you bring canned food and such in a checked-in bag?
I know there are a lot of strict rules for carry-on bags. How did you deal with your medications going through x-ray? Do you think that airport security x-ray effects your meds?
I want to take my son to Disney World...He's been to Iraq but not to Disney...I feel it's time for him to go and be a child again. He becoming himself again and getting around pretty good on his bum knee. We'll put off the knee operation until after he gets a vacation at Disney.

just tell them about the medication. theyre people, theyll listen. your not a terrorist :D

another issue altogether is the canisters/bottles whatever you bring medication IN, that may pose a problem. i would call the airport, and just ask. well _I_ wouldnt, i'd make someone else call :D

what if you put the medication in a separate bag, and then inform them about it?

and i dont think the x-ray will affect your meds, they go through in a brief second, and out again.

x-Rays won't affect any medication. You can bring canned food, they can scan right through it.
