XALEPAX comes from the ukrainian word "Khalepa", transliteration of ХАЛЕПА

That means "TROUBLE" and I identify myself with it as I use to screw myself up in social networks
I just added an X at the end

Its pronounced "CHALYÉPACH" - the "CH" as in scottish "Loch"

Character in the novel, Watt. If Beckett wasn't an aspie, he was close enough. (Same for Joyce and Orwell)

I had been using a different name in various forums, and I just got tired of it. At the time, I was reading Deathly Hallows and really enjoying it, so I decided that I would get my new screen name by opening up the book and pointing at a random passage for inspiration. I pointed at "Elder Wand" (or near enough to it), and thought I'd turn that into my name, but make it feminine by adding an "a" at the end. I say it as one word, ELderwanda. Kind of rolls off the tongue.

As an added bonus, I love Alan Rickman, who happens to play Severus Snape in the HP movies. Snape has an important connection to the elder wand, so that makes the name extra good for me.

Celtic comes from my roots and goddess because I'm a domestic goddess (better title than stay at home mum).

I usually use my pimp name, which is MandaFizzle. :P

I don't know why I picked the name I did. It's rather lame. It's the rather lame version of my real name.

Lame.

 Diggin it
Lilitu is the Sumerian version of Lilith and according to some schools of religious thought, the first wife of Adam and supposedly the mother of the devil. Am not particularly demonic, just thought it sounded cool......

It feels strange to be called by any name other than my actual name.

i've actually come across more than one person named "lilitu" (i go through a lot of people's private information in my job).

my name is evan. my blog is on melodramatic.com. my name there is "evan." i didn't bother looking for an evan on here.

i stole the name waltur (including the spelling) from a chinese girl. when i came back from basic training, i went to visit a friend and my old band instructor. while i was there, this girl started flirting with me. after i found out she was 15 i disappeared. her name was "waltur" but she was born ai-mee. i don't know how she spelled that one, all i know is that it was pronounced "A" like the letter, followed by "Me" like the personal pronoun. when her parents moved to america they wanted to give her an american name to help her fit in. so they renamed her "waltur." nevermind that they spelled it wrong or that it's a boy's name or that her name was pretty much already "amy." i told her i was going to steal the name and i did. i've used it as a video game pseudonym, a d&d character name (ok actually several character's names. it morphs pretty easy.), sometimes it even works as an alias if i don't want to be recognized (i was a little too well known on melo for some time.).

also: waltus, walturius, walymus, walymur, walypedia, walynidus, walythicus, walinir, but never mark walberg. ever.

I'm such a Blind Willie McTell fanboy that I stole his name rather than coming up with my own.

Interesting to know the pronunciation of Xalepax. I had been saying it as Tza-lay-patz (to rhyme with alley-cats).
