But why does almost every station have to have some bible thumping preacher hogging them? :?

I haven't surfed TV in a while especially in the morning now I remember why...because most of them are packed full of christian shows!!

Why just.......why?

Wide appeal implies it sells; lowest common denominator, business as usual. Even in these secular lands several of the precious few inland radio stations are all Christian 'music'.

Good old religion-free Belgian television.

Also, lol@christian music. Sorry, but someone had to say it.

When I had a TV, I only had five terrestrial channels. There isn't much to do with religion on them. I suppose there's Songs of Praise, but that's about it.

I remember once, when I was younger, watching the God Channel on a friend's TV. I'm not sure why we did that actually. It was a bizarre experience.

Hehe, God Channel. Yeah, I can get it on my TV too if I search enough. It's almost as amusing to watch as Russia Today.

The God Channel...I can't get it but I've heard about it and I've always wondered...
What the hell do they make shows about?
I mean, their main character has been MIA since the dawn of time and their supporting role has been dead for over 1000 years.

lol
From what I've seen, there are several creepy cartoons (some about stories from the Bible, some with creepy little 3D-animated angels and stuff) OH, and there's Bible Man, the Christian super hero. XD
Also lots of creepy preachers and a show that's just dreamy hymn-type music playing over footage of tranquil outdoor scenery.

...I shouldn't know this much about Christian TV. D:

I've never come across any God channels on French television. Come to think of it Christianity hardly ever gets a mention anyway. Ah the joys of living in an "atheist" country. :D

The Christian Cable channels over here in the US are always beating down on Islam.

it depends on country, the majority of religeon channels on UKs satelite/cable TV are muslim based.
Maybe they should equal religeous tv out a bit with a LaVeyan channel.
