Hey, does anyone know any good free psychology books? something roughly equivalent to what psychology students read. thanks

You could check out an "Intro to Psychology" textbook from your local library for free.

I'm not sure what you mean by free books, but these are some of my favorits:

Primal scream by Arthur Janov
The Betrayal of the Body by Alexander Lowen
Bocks by Stanislav Groff

Psychology students have module specific textbooks, such as Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology Etc.

If you'd like to learn about the subject, I suggest googling "a level psychology", and going from there.

Also Berkley has a great webcast of the most of it's lectures, including this subject
