yes, I've recently started to listen КИНО, although I am not very knowledgeable in the area of music. My favorite song from them is Последний герой. And there are some others I enjoy very much. But Последний герой, Бездельник (of which there're 2 versions) just best reflect my today's state and are really close to me.

I remember their Sonce song from back when I was a 10 year old boy. They really reflect the loneliness and desperation that aspies often feel.

I just started learning Russian a few days ago. I am very interested in it because my best friend knows it. He studied it for hundreds of years. I am in the early stages of at least being able to read the language, but I don't understand everything that I read as it is only a few days ago!! I will soon, hopefully with the help of my friend.

Hello, I speak Russian and all. Unfortunately, I have no Russian typing skills, due to the fact that my parents never let me go near a computer back in Russia. So, it takes me at least a minute to type 1 sentence, and at least a second to find each letter on the keyboard (I have Russian stickers on my keyboard). XD

Starrsy, I can see that Russian is not your native language because you messed up the meanings of "hard". There are two meanings in English: "difficult" and tough, as in hard to break. There are two words for "hard" in Russian: твердый and трудный. You also didn't conjugate most of your verbs correctly. But keep learning, and maybe you'll become very good at it!

MathGirl everything u said is factually correct. As autistics, we often forget to sugar coat our criticisms. Nuerotypicals prefer to meet others where they are at, and avoid correcting their mistakes. Just reading this probably makes you feel a little uneasy. See?

And while we are at it, click on the links on my sig :)

Hi,

I'm 34 and have recently been refered via my GP for a formal Diagnosis for AS. My main obsession has always been computer graphics (I'm a web/graphic designer). An other obsession of mine has always been cities (Tokyo, Berlin and Moscow in particular)However I have recently found that I have a natural ability with language. This was never noted at school (probably because I hardly went;)).

I have learned over 100 russian words half an our a day and about 30 full phrases in a week (just half an hour a day)

I have also learnt the cyrillic alphabet in under 8 minutes!
I hope this does not sound like boasting too much;)

Does anyone else on here find they have an ability with language? I just wish I had found this out a lot sooner:(

I look forward to spending time on this group/thread:)

I'm learning Russian as well. I'm only beginning, but I understand the Cyrillic alphabet. I have trouble with verb conjugation to the point that It's giving me the most trouble and hindering my study of the language. Think anyon could help me?

Hello! I know the Russian alphabet and read you without problems, but better understand, then write. I'm not of the mind to speak fluently(?).
I think I got that right. :P

Maybe I did some mistakes, it's very possible :D

Я тоже русский. Но не особенно общаюсь с другими русскими моего возраста и ниже в реальной жизни. Не нравятся они мне. Такие дела,
