欧元 Ōuyuán ( the Euro)

Well, that's interesting.英语 Yīngyǔ is spoken English.英文 Yīngwén is the English language in general. The ending is probably 子 , which originally meant child, and is used as a suffix in Chinese now. So it makes sense.
