Biblical Hebrew anyone?
I'm very much a beginner, as usual self-taught therefore my progress will be very slow, but so far its enjoyable.
I've memorised up to 3.Vayomer Elohim yehi or vayehi or.
Wow, its so exciting to me. Imagine, to hear the Bible as Jesus would have heard it as a boy.
I'd better explain I use memorisation as a way to shut out or overcome whatever is pointlessly ruling my life, in this case my wife died Christmas morning fourteen months ago. Prev project was the Henry V Crispin Day speech just before and after she died, I'm no genius here, it took me four months to get that. Prior to that Mandarin and after dabbling for thirteen years its really only poetry that remains.
