English idioms
What about them?
You know there are many phrases in English that cannot be understood literally, which is very evil. So I decided to defeat them one by one haha.
So you're "tilting at windmills" I see!
That
idiom comes from "Don Quixote" who would charge at windmills because he thought they were evil giants.
For some reason charging on a horse with a lance (ie jousting) was called "tilting".
