The rules are simple. Post a movie quote from an English-language movie in Spanish and the next person has to guess what movie it is from. Don't use online translator websites.

Leader: UH... Yo, indicar su nombre.

Everyone: Yo, indicar su nombre.

Leader: Prometo lealtad a la fraternidad.

Everyone: Prometo lealtad a la fraternidad.

Leader: Con libertad y fraternidad para todos.

"I am to show your number.

Promote loyalty to the fraternity/brotherhood

With liberty and brotherhood for all."

First line I am not very sure of.
A bunch of soldiers repeating a pledge given to them by a drill sergeant?

I dunno. "A few Good Men"? "Rambo"?

Promise-not promote.

Sounds like school kids reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

I give up.

What is it?

It is from the 1978 cult film Animal House.

Leader:
Uh...I, state your name.

Everyone:
I, state your name.

Leader:
Pledge allegiance to the fraternity.

Everyone:
Pledge allegiance to the fraternity.

Leader:
Uh...with liberty and fraternity to all.

Everyone:
Amen!

Okay. Got a little bit warmer. But still not very hot when I went from Military to a school setting.

I thought "nombre" was "number", not "name", for some reason.

Good.

But wouldnt it be "Indico su nombre", and not "Yo, Indicar su nombre"?

The way you said it is "I to state your name". Not "I state your name".The infinitive, and not the correct first person.

In normal conversation Spanish speakers dispense with "I" ( yo)because "I" is built into the verb conjugation. You say "soy un Gringo" , and not "yo soy un Gringo".

I dunno...maybe in a formal pledge they might say the "I", though not in normal talk. We will let you slide on that.

Okay.

My turn.

Here is an easy one.

"Madrid....

Tengamos una problemente."

(I changed one tiny little thing to keep it from being a dead giveaway, but it should still be easy).

Okay. I wont change that one little thing.

Here is the even easier version of my question:

"Houston...

Tengamos una problema."

"Houston...we have a problem."

You there?

Was I right?

If so here is the next puzzler:

"Vamos necessitar un barco mas grande!"

You are right.

The answer to your quote is from Jaws; the quote being: "I think we're going to need a bigger boat."

Next quote:

"Tienes que hacerte una pregunta. Me siento afortunado? Verdad, punk?"

The word "punk" is a giveaway.

It's Dirty Harry/Clint Eastwood saying that "do you feel lucky,...well...do ya'? Punk!" speech. Did he fire six shots, or only five? Well in all of this excitement I kinda lost track myself!

++++++++++++++++++++

If thats correct here is the next one:

Construirlo, Y vendran.

Yes, you are correct.

"If you build it, they will come."

{The Voice from "Field Of Dreams", played by an actor whose identity is still unknown to this day.}

Hint: most of the original was already in Spanish. And even the small part I changed might be retained if the movie dubbed into Spanish.
