I own a pair of 2" heels, my very first pair! I love them to death and will wear them even around the house. The more I wear them the better I am at walking in them. Now I understand why other women love collecting them so much. I hope to get more, with increasingly longer heels (next up: 4", then 6", etc.)

I have bought a pair of black boots with about 4 cm heels. Ofc they're too wide for my thin legs (why they think that size 42 = wide leg and foot?), but I can walk normal :D

I've tried. Have one pair of heels (only 5cm). But considering that I loose what little elegance I had before putting on, and the fact that I walk like a drunken penguin in them, I'd rather wear my flats, despite looking like a midget compared to everyone else. 8)

I can walk in heels just fine. I actually prefer at least an inch and a half heel to flat footed. I just keep my weight on the balls of my feet and when I go down stairs I angle my feet a little, and my hips to make sure the whole foot falls on the step. As long as you don't walk too fast you should be fine. Don't buy stiletto thin heels at first- try thicker ones until you are used to it. Also if you have chunky legs, the stilettos might look imbalanced.
